I recently had the pleasure of meeting up with tnkgrl to have coffee and talk about mobile stuff. She’s a true hacker, and she can be attributed with modding many hard to find gadgets first. She’s an authority on many subjects, so we sat down to talk about Nokia. In this video, we talked about the potential for the Music Express 5800, Nokia’s touchscreen past, and where advanced devices are headed. This is a new type of post for me. The filming was terrible for the first 1.5 minutes, but it’s ok after that, so please bear with us while we get our bearings. I've actually seen and very briefly used a Nokia 7700, that the head of Nokia India was playing around with during my participation in the N-gage all India championship. I was the only person that recognised it so I went right up to the guy and said “OMFG IS THAT A NOKIA 7700 ? ISNT IT STILL IN CONCEPT ?”.
It was apparently pulled because of the side-talking. Looked kinda cool at the time though lol. The 7710 replaced it.

Great interview! I like the new features you're adding, Matthew. Superb discussion, and I love the “WinMo people, get with the program” comment.
Also really love the Nokia touch history lesson. Now I know where the 770 product number came from!
