We’re here in Los Angeles, CA for the first stop in the N97 USA Roadtrip, and we’re just getting our bearings. Yesterday was a travel day, and we all arrived at the Hotel around 7:30. Getting anywhere in LA takes So LONG, and we’ve already blown $200 on cabs. Yup, five dudes in a cab. As a side note, the GPS mapping on the N97 is fantastic for keeping cabbies honest. Recommended!
Today we’ve had breakfast, and we’re figuring out what content to capture next. We’re investigating rental cars, so we can see more of the Sprawl.
We’ve all been having a great time playing with our two (2!) N97′s provided by WOM World, who is also bankrolling this trip. Dan Silvers is our WOM World liaison, and he’s been invaluable for figuring everything out. Dan’s a master cat herder.
We’ve got a couple more days left in LA, where we’ll finish up with Mobile Camp LA. The Mobile Camp is limited to 35 participants, and there’s still some spots left, so sign up early if you’d like to attend. I’ve learned so much about the N97, just from hanging out with these guys for 12 hours. I’m sure you’ll learn a lot if you can attend the Mobile Camp and it’s free.
Just as a reminder, after LA, we’re heading to San Francisco, then Chicago, then finally New York for a big N97 party. We will be attending the Mobile Camp events in SF and Chicago, so click on the links, and sign up!
Now, I’ve gotta go meet the guys in the lobby, so we can decide what to do next. The options are endless, but the N97 will certainly be able to keep up!
I’ll start uploading my pictures to my Flickr account shortly. Follow me on Twitter. : )

The N97 in white is a splendid piece of work, unusual and a great looking smart phone.
