n97 300x207 N97 in my hot little hands! In this photo I’m holding an early prototype of the N97 from Nokia.  I also have a full hair helmet.  I’m chuffed as chips.

Nokia was understandably being very protective of this device, and only allowed photos of the main screen.  There are many great photos of this device on the web, so I didn’t take any.  I really just want to inspire my readers with this fact : the definition of “The Press” has changed.  I feel very fortunate.  W00t!

tnkgrl Mobile was also invited.

    Would you say that the N97 is around the same size of the N82 Matt? When closed of course.

    Excellent, I will take a look. I have recently invested in a Black N82, mainly because of its Xenon, and oh boy, what an investment, I love it.

    The n82 is one of the best phones out right now! Everybody loves the Xenon! I skipped the N82 because my N95 was still working great. But I'm tempted by the N85, 5800, and eventually the N97.

    Well you know me, I have 2 N95-2, and 1 x N95-1, not to mention an N81 8GB, and now an N82 Black, also trialling an N96 atm too. Im a bit of a geek, and a phone collector, but actually owning these phones, I can carry out different practices in order to help others, write reviews, articles, and side by side comparisons. I also have some other Nokia goodies too. Yes, Im crazy, but hey, i don't drink, so I guess this is my alternative lol.

    I've seen your collection, Micky! Impressive! Being able to demo apps side by side on all the N95's is a great service.

    I'm glad you don't drink, too. I'd be trouble on ebay and amazon with a drink and a credit card!
