I just got a note from Nokia’s excellent Blogger Relation team letting us know about a new Nokia blog aimed at end-users. In case you haven’t figured it out yet, My Daily App will highlight one application from the Ovi Store everyday. This should help get the word out to Hardcore Nokia fans who read RSS feeds everyday. But if they really want to drive application uptake, they’ll need the App-A-Day homescreen widget.
What do you think? Is this a good move for Nokia? Or will it reach the fanbois and not many others?

Thanks for the post about MyDailyApp.com – feel free to let us know if there’s anything specific that you’d like to see us cover in the blog down the line.
And, the App-a-Day homescreen widget is a fun idea – I’ll ask the powers-that-be if we can build one!
Have a great weekend. – jason (jasonblackatovidotcom)
